And speaking of those good old days - i remember having this huge crush on MTV’s Simon Rex. And that was even before his stint in Brad Posey’s Young, Hard and Solo series became known. So when that info was finally made public -i thought, ” jesus christ - wow, there is a god indeed.” Of course i got myself a copy - but those were the days before the advent of the DVD and unfortunately that vid is not as crystal clear as today’s vids, but still horn inducing enough and the perfect accompaniment to boring afternoons or nights. This video was heavily censored when it came out i reckon, and it took me three or four years to finally watch it in its entirety. And after viewing it, i could not understand what the fuss was all about. You had Robbie Williams taking his clothes off (and more) to get a chick’s attention, so what? i’ve seen more cringe and puke scenes in video games you know? I am not an emo music fan. it’s overrated. it gives goths a bad name since folks who don’t even bother to learn,  mistake emo for goth. and — most of all i could never forgive Peter Wentz and the rest of the Fall Out Boy for the travesty they did to Joy Division’s classic, “Love Will Tear Us Apart”.
